Cameron Smith’s career trajectory continues to rise

Tied 2nd in the 2020 Masters Tournament behind runaway winner Dustin Johnson, Cameron Smith’s gutsy performance illustrated why he’s a force to be reckoned with every time he tees it up. Along the way and while proudly wearing his final day Maroon of Queensland, he achieved what no person had done before him at Augusta National, shooting all four rounds in the 60s.

This piece for The Cut Magazine went to print at the beginning of Masters week and showcases the relationship Smith and Kiwi caddie Sam Pinfold have forged since teaming up in 2015.

Sadly, the world’s COVID-19 situation meant that Pinfold sat this one out back in NZ but he will be back on the bag when the Masters rolls around again in five short months.
