About Us

Since 2010, Golfplus Media has produced a vast amount of media content as well as undertaking varied and interesting golf-related marketing projects.

Paul and Mark are the two golfing guys behind Golfplus Media. They’ve been in and around the game in some way or another for a long time.

They also play the game…actually, they play a lot. Paul is pretty handy off scratch while Mark battles hard trying to keep up. Off the course, they have an array of media skills and knowledge that they bring to Golfplus Media. A combination of journalistic, photographic and marketing skills to provide insights into the game as well as powerful resource for the promotion of golf, leisure and travel industries.

Both Paul and Mark are members of the Australian Golf Media Association.

Paul Prendergast

Paul has been putting ‘pen to paper’ about golf, travel and leisure for many years. His work has included many golf course features, press releases and articles that have been published in over a dozen countries world-wide.

He’ s been a caddie, covered golf tournaments on various Tours and written about, interviewed and met many great characters, course designers and greats of the game. Some of those who have joined him for a yarn include Gary Player, Peter Thomson, Tom Watson, Greg Norman, Jose-Maria Olazabal, Karrie Webb, Betsy King, Louis Oosthuizen, Nick Price, Geoff Ogilvy, Marc Leishman, Cameron Smith, Mike Whan, Ian Poulter, Miguel Angel Jimenez, Tom Doak, Gil Hanse and Ian Baker-Finch.

Mark Wilson

Mark likes to think he is the creative guy in Golfplus Media. He is responsible for many of the pictures that grace the stories that Paul writes. He captures images at tournaments, course reviews and dedicated golf-related shoots. Recently, he has taken to drone photography that is proving especially useful for golf photography.

Mark is also the creative lead on the branding and marketing projects that Golfplus Media is involved in. He draws on his successful career in graphic design and advertising mixed with his love of the game, including a relentless passion for bunting the little white ball around.
